A spot in the garden, something fruity in your glass and a catch-up that lasts longer than planned. Sounds pretty good to us.

It’s officially “shall we take the dog for a walk?” weather. Also known as “shall we go to the pub and bring a witness?” 🐾🍂

We love welcoming your dogs inside. Just a little housekeeping before they settle in and start pretending they’ve never been fed…

🍴 Our bar area is dog friendly, and we have a limited number of dog-friendly dining tables. Eating with us? We recommend booking and mentioning your dog — especially if they’re the main reason anyone’s coming.

🐕 Please keep dogs on leads and close to you. Our team carrying plates through the pub is already quite the spectator sport.

🌿 If your dog starts barking, please pop outside together for a short break before coming back in. Sometimes a sniff of a bush puts everything into perspective.

🛋️ No dogs on the furniture, please. We know they sit on the sofa at home. We know they have their own cushion. We know you sit somewhere else.

Thanks for helping keep the pub lovely for everyone. We look forward to welcoming you and immediately asking your dog’s name. 🤎

Summer 2026, you’ve been a good one! ☀️🍻

From tapas to b**r festivals, great food and “just one more” in the garden, it’s been a summer to remember at The Rayleigh Arms.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, whether you popped in for a pint or made an afternoon of it. And a special shoutout to our amazing team, who kept the drinks flowing, the plates coming and the smiles going through the busiest days. ❤️
