The Ferry Boat Inn is the perfect place to relax and unwind, catch up with family and friends either in the comfort of the original pub with its log-fire, our spacious new dining area or when the weather permits our lovely beer garden, where dogs and children can enjoy the space to play. Whether you want a light bite or a hearty meal, choose from our great new menus, made from locally sourced produce whenever possible and designed to cater for a variety of tastes and appetites, all served by a friendly team. Our menus include starters, main courses, desserts, light bites for a smaller appetite, and a great coffee selection.

STAY
Our self-contained, purpose-built annexe houses six beautifully furnished and contemporary-styled bedrooms, each with their own en-suite facilities and brand-new king-sized beds, all with the flexibility to be reconfigured as twins to suit. Located discretely behind the Inn and designed to fit into the rural landscape, all our rooms have country views, some facing east over neighbouring farmland whilst others look out over our lovely garden. All rooms are now bookable on a bed and breakfast basis, with the option to book a table in the Inn for lunch or an evening meal. There's also two convenient EV Charge points available for patrons.

Calling all witches! Time to get spooky and book into our October Tarot Night!💫

The stars will align on Monday, 19th October.

🌙 has limited availability for personal, intuitive tarot card readings of up to 30 minutes between 5:30PM-10:00PM. Readings are £30pp and can be booked via her website, or by giving us a call at 01621 738844.

🤩 Our tapas menu is bespoke to these evenings and the menu will be available when you arrive, but look over the photos to see past examples of every mouth-watering small plate.

🍸 Craft cocktails themed to the evening will be served all evening at our bar by the Caroluna bartender!

A first-come, first-served cancellations sheet will be available when you arrive; if you haven't pre-booked you can still enjoy tapas and themed craft cocktails all evening.

🎸 Friday, 30th October from 8PM you favourite band of 2026 will be back at The Ferry Boat Inn, North Fambridge!

You all loved The Cosmics at FBI Fest so much that we booked the boys back in for a night of all your favourites.

This is a non-ticketed evening of great music and good times with your friends. Come turn our Barn into your personal dancefloor and let us know what you hope The Cosmics will play first in the comments.

You've been asking and we're thrilled to offer our first autumnal wreath-making workshop this October at The Ferry Boat Inn, North Fambridge!

We're partnering with local florist, .petals2025 , to bring you a top-to-tail wreath-making workshop on the 12th of October starting at 5PM.

Spaces are limited and we encourage early bookings. Tickets are £40pp and include all materials, instruction & nibbles. You'll leave having had a lovely evening with your friends and a beautiful wreath for each of your front doors.
