Congratulations to our Hotel Operations Manager, Cody, on celebrating his four year anniversary at the hotel.

Cody joined the hotel as a Food & Beverage Assistant and has progressed over time through the roles of Head Bartender, Bar Manager and Food & Beverage Manager, before joining our Senior Management Team as Hotel Operations Manager in March 2025.

More recently, Cody has taken on additional responsibilities following the departure of our Deputy General Manager, continuing to demonstrate his commitment to the hotel and the team. Throughout his time at the hotel, Cody has consistently shown exceptional loyalty, integrity and trustworthiness. We're incredibly grateful for everything he brings to the hotel.

STAR OF THE MONTH - JUNE ⭐

Congratulations to Archie, one of our Food & Beverage Assistants, who was voted Star of the Month for June.

He received the highest number of votes in recognition of him regularly picking up available shifts and stepping in whenever support is needed. His hard-working attitude, willingness to help with any task and positive approach make him a valued member of the team.

Most recently, Archie also supported our Housekeeping Team, showing great flexibility and teamwork. What really stands out is Archie's enthusiasm and genuine enjoyment for working at the hotel, with dedication and reliability.

The first fundraising ball for Sanctus Homeless Charity was held at the County Hotel Chelmsford. It was a fabulous evening, and a reminder of the tremendous service Sanctus provides to the local community despite the challenges.
