💚 Bowls Basics – How Do You Know Which Bowl Belongs to Which Player? 🤔

If you've been watching the Commonwealth Games, you may have wondered...

How do players know which bowls belong to who?

Every player uses a unique set of stickers or symbols on their bowls. These are called engravings or identification stickers, and they're placed on both sides of each bowl.

Because every player's design is different, it's easy for everyone to identify which bowls belong to which player, even when they're all gathered around the jack.

It's a simple idea, but it keeps the game flowing and avoids any confusion!

🏅 Today marks the final day of the Commonwealth Games.

If you've enjoyed watching the incredible skill, precision and tactics on display over the past couple of weeks and you've been thinking, "I'd love to give that a try," why not come and see us at Jacks Centre Indoor Bowls Club?

We offer three FREE beginner coaching sessions, all the equipment you need to get started, and a warm, friendly welcome. You might just discover your new favourite sport! 💚

📍 We'd love to welcome you onto the green.
