It’s been one of those weeks..
You know those weeks when little things start to go wrong and those little things start turning into big things and it sometimes feels like you just can’t win. Yeah, it’s been one of those weeks.
To cut a long story short, our main walk-in fridge (the one where we keep everything) hit 25 degrees yesterday. We had to throw away everything in it, including all the dinner prep for tonight and tomorrow night’s dinner service. We have several other fridges that we have spent the week filling with our daytime service food, however with no fridge space and no evening food we have had to close the dinner service for tonight and tomorrow night.
All the bookings have been notified (check your voice mail and emails if you haven’t heard) and deposits refunded, but the DAYTIME SERVICE IS STILL GO. The air con is on and the team are ready and working hard to keep you fuelled and hydrated.
We love the sunshine but this week the blue skies have been a little testing. Thanks for your understanding - keep cool🍦🧊
(Ps. It’s English Wine Week this week and we were planning to have a beautiful New Hall Wine Estate sparkling Bacchus on the menu for you to enjoy. Yes, without the evening service it seems a little limp to be serving a beautiful local English wine, however who says that you can’t enjoy a glass after your bacon & egg bun (sorry New Hall Wine Estate , this probably isn’t your go to wine pairing🫣😬))
Pop in, it’s delicious🍾
