What an honour it’s been to be part of something so special here in Chelmsford.
Over the last 4 and a half years, Bubu’s Community Hub Cafe has grown into so much more than a cafe. From the very beginning, we believed in creating a space where everyone felt welcome , a place built on community and connection. Long before “community hub” became a movement, we were opening our doors to people from all walks of life and bringing people together through conversation and shared experiences.
We’ve seen friendships grow, collaborations form, and people find their place within the community. It really does take a village, and we’ve been blessed enough to watch that village grow around us year after year.
To everyone who has volunteered, prayed for us ,partnered with us, supported us, offered advice, donated their time, or simply believed in what we’re trying to build , thank you. You know who you are, and Bubu’s would never be what it is without you.
This journey has always been about people first. Together, we continue to change, one conversation at a time 🫶 Chelmsford For You Chelmsford City Council Chelmsford Arts Council England Essex Community Foundation Essex ActivAte
