💙 What would you do without The Space?

Last year alone, The Space supported over 1,000 children and young people across the local Cheddar Valley area.

It’s difficult to imagine the impact if that support simply wasn’t there when children and families needed it most. 💔

That’s why the team at Coffee @ The Hub, alongside The Space team, are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge to help raise vital funds and support the continuation of these much-needed services. 🏔️🏔️🏔️

What would a look like for young people in the Cheddar Valley?

It could mean losing a safe place to talk, be heard and feel supported.

No counselling or play therapy. No Youth Café or youth club. No early help.

Just young people facing big feelings without the trusted adults who help them navigate them.

It’s easy to see the services The Space provides. What’s harder to see is the importance of having a safe, welcoming place where young people can turn up, talk things through and know there’s someone there to listen.

That’s the role community organisations play – creating spaces where people can connect, find support and get help when they need it.

🥾☕️ THREE PEAKS. 24 HOURS. ONE VERY IMPORTANT MISSION. 💙

We’re incredibly proud to be joining forces with our friends at The Space for this HUGE challenge!

Staff from Coffee @ The Hub AND The Space are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge this October — all in aid of raising vital funds for children and young people’s mental health across the Cheddar Valley.

The need for The Space’s support is growing, and without fundraising like this, vital counselling, youth groups and safe spaces are at risk.

So yes… we’re taking on three mountains in 24 hours. ⛰️⛰️⛰️

Will there be aching legs? Absolutely.
Will there be questionable life choices somewhere around peak number two? Almost certainly. 😂
Will there be a LOT of coffee involved? Obviously. ☕️

But behind the sore feet, tired legs and caffeine-fuelled determination is something incredibly important: making sure no child has to face their mental health struggles alone. 💙

We’d love you to get behind our team and help us raise as much as we can.

Every donation makes a difference. Every pound helps The Space continue to be there for local children and families when they need it most.
