'The Cafe Abundance' is located in the heart of Cheddar village, run as a community cafe... providing a warm, comfy atmosphere; ideal for a relaxed wind-down or a social gathering! We offer a range of foods; such as home-baked cakes, freshly made soups, our speciality vegetable lasagne, warm paninis, jacket potatoes and home-made apple crumble.

A big thank you to the lovely community of Cheddar for your generosity of providing crackers, Christmas puddings, money and everything we needed to have a great Christmas Day and dinner in The Café Abundance. A special thank you to karen and Tanya for helping me prepare meals for 14! Happy Christmas and new year everyone🥰

Following the new COVID guidelines... with a heavy heart I’m afraid to say we are going to have to close The Café Abundance for free snacks and drinks drop in on Christmas Day. However, we will still make a Christmas dinner for those already booked in. We will no longer need donations of snacks ... but if anyone has got a turkey or Christmas pudding, I will still be in The Café Abundance on Monday and Tuesday 2-4pm. Also need clothing for a homeless man : trousers size 32, boxers and socks. I am so sorry for disappointing anyone who planned on coming.

If there is anyone in our community that needs a free Christmas dinner and wants to join us in The Cafe Abundance on Christmas Day between 2-4pm, please let me know by Sunday 20th.
I will be in The Café Abundance on Monday 21st December & Tuesday 22nd December between 2-4pm
to receive any donations for our Christmas opening.

Items needed: Shloer, juice, mince pies, cheese and crackers, crisps, chocolate...all Christmas snacks welcome.

Also...items needed for local homeless man: Size 32 trousers/jeans, boxers and socks and size 8 walking boots.

Due to a shortage of staff and volunteers at this current time, we regret to tell you that The Cafe Abundance will remain closed until January 4th 2021. Although, we will be open on Christmas Day for our annual opening (details to follow soon). We miss seeing you all and thoroughly look forward to reuniting in the New Year. ♥️
