A quick hoover and tidy and the rooms at Def Studios are ready for a busy day of bands. The rooms now have a floor monitor on a separate mix and a bass bin for any backing tracks/play back. Oh, and the biscuit tin, by the teas and coffees, now has choccy biscuits :)

Happy Valentines day from Def Studios!
I hope people will love the new drum riser in room 1, and to show we love the bands that use our studios we've left some chocolate muffins and a drink on us for the guys in tonight.

What a beautiful spring like morning! "Its times like these" makes me realise how lucky we are to have our studios at the lovely Historic Dockyard. If anyone fancies a last minute session, we've had a cancellation for 14:30 to 18:30 today. We also have 1 room available tomorrow between 14:40 to 18:30 and 18:30 to 22:30. Message me if interested. The sad news about Taylor Hawkins reminds us enjoy the sunshine while we can people 😢

If you fancy a good old fashioned knees up, there's now a piano in room 1!! It is quite badly out of tune though, but will get sorted :)

We've started putting a couple of mics back in the rooms. We still suggest bands bring their own (covid is still with us!) But now supplying mics with a sanitising spray and wipes and ask bands to clean before and after use please 😀

It's not easy being green? That's where you're wrong Kermit!! We've gone green @ DEFSTUDIOS tonight to celebrate St Patrick's day. Oh, and put some Guiness in the rooms so the bands can have a drink on us 🥳

Hi everyone! We have some availability tomorrow for anyone who wants a Sunday rehearsal!! Our regular slots now are Monday to Friday 18:30 to 22:30, and weekend 10:30 to 14:30, 14:30 to 18:30 or 18:30 to 22:30. All 4 hours slots for £45. We are open during the day Monday to Friday for £10 per hour (min of 2 hours) upon request! We should have a diary with availability coming soon to our website, but in the meantime send a text to 07824 877967 to enquire about booking.

Hey everyone,

After having been at the DEF Studios helm since 2004, we've now handed over to Colin, the new head honcho who is now looking after you all. You'll still be able to get hold of DEF to make enquiries and bookings as before on 07824 877967.

As you may or may not know, we made the move up to the wilds of Norfolk last year and are running a recording studio there, so we will now be devoting our time to running that.
