Tonight at Gurkha Fire: Together for Nepal 🇳🇵

Tonight is our special Nepal Flood Relief Fundraising Evening, and we’re making one final call for anyone who would like to join us.

We’ll be serving a traditional Thaali style dinner, featuring dishes and flavours inspired by traditional Kathmandu Valley cuisine, and we’re excited to confirm that the wonderful Jayne Snow will be singing live tonight.

Tickets are £50 per person, with 100% of the profits donated to Nepal Flood Disaster Relief.

There is still time to book a table and be part of what we hope will be a really special evening, enjoying great Nepalese food and live music while raising money for communities that desperately need our support.

A special fundraising evening for Nepal at Gurkha Fire on Tuesday 15th September.

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who has already donated, shared the fundraiser and helped Gurkha Fire support communities affected by the devastating floods in Nepal.

The response so far has been incredible, with the original fundraising targets already exceeded. Gurkha Fire has now been approached by the locally based Gurkha regiment to join the fundraising efforts and help push the total towards £5,000.

After customers suggested holding a special fundraising dinner, the team decided to make it happen.

On Tuesday 15th September, Gurkha Fire in Chatham will be hosting a special Nepal Flood Relief Fundraising Evening.

For the occasion, the team will be serving a traditional Thaali style dinner, with flavours and dishes much closer to traditional Kathmandu Valley style cuisine than the restaurant style dishes normally served at Gurkha Fire. Even regular customers should find something a little different to experience on the night.

There will also be live music throughout the evening, bringing everyone together for what we hope will be a very special night.

Many families and communities are facing the loss of homes, belongings and basic essentials, and we want to do what we can to help support those affected as they begin to recover and rebuild.
