It’s so lovely this time of year, birds are tweeting, nature is thriving and I can sit in the garden reflecting on why I spend so much money on flowers 🌹 every year instead of going on a summer holiday 🤣
It’s definitely worth it 😁

Been a busy bee this morning, planting and cleaning, we've got 32 hanging baskets and several new wooden planters being designed and planted by our friends Gardening world 🌎 in Newington for around the 1st June.
The place will look amazing, although it does put another 15 hours a week on my workload this time of year, I can't wait to see it back in bloom 😁

It's days like we had yesterday that brings home why myself and my team do what we do, we had two large funeral wakes literally within an hour.
Over 120 people watered and fed in a 3 hour period and the feedback was a beautiful thing.
I did put out a post on our page and blocked off our online booking system in advance, I do understand that some people don't look at these things (me included when I get the chance of a rare bit of time out)but when someone says well we will take our business elsewhere… baring in mind myself and a new member of staff was outside guiding people in, moving tables in our garden area to make room for cars in the rain so they could park, it makes me feel sad.
We are here for everyone and believe me if I could have found a place for them I would've, but yesterday was not possible.
We have 70plus people coming this lunchtime and there is limited space till around 4-30 pm.
When the weather is right we can sit another 200 people outside.
Please try and call us in advance so you are not disappointed if you can't get in.
Myself and the team are here to help.
