hatham has plenty of places to dine out but as with much Mediterranean cuisine, it's the range of ingredients on the menu at Şelale that impresses. Seafood is prominent, but with a great range of cold and hot starters, including a cold meze starter prepared for 1-2 or 3-4 persons. chargrilled mains and vegetarian dishes, chargrilled aromatic meat, fish and vegetable dishes and crispy greek salads, freshly baked pitta's, cold meze dips and so much more. from Turkey, Greece, Spain and Cyprus there really is something for all tastes and appetites. The starters menu lists tantalising treats such as crab claws deep fried in breadcrumbs served with tartare sauce and muska borek - moreish parcels of filo pastry filled with cheese and spinach and shallow fried. Mains include succulent meat dishes like Islim - large, boneless chunks of lamb topped with fried aubergine slices, tomato and peppers, baked in a light sauce and served with rice and classic chicken brochettes, perfectly marinated and chargrilled on the skewer with onions and peppers. Fish dishes include the paella a la Valencia and the chargrilled swordfish steak. With dishes such as the fried aubergine moussaka with courgettes, carrots, potatoes and brown lentils topped with cheese sauce, this is definitely a place for vegetarians. Complete your meal and treat yourself to dessert, apricots and cream sprinkled with nuts, Baklava, Chocolate or vanilla ice cream, cakes.
