It's with mixed emotions that I need to tell you all that my mum and I have sold the pub 😪🙈👍❤️🙉
Our last day in the pub will be street fair day 27th June.
We will have live music and pork rolls on to finish off the day and what better note for us to go out on, so please join us to celebrate or commiserate depending on you view of us !!!🤣🤣
Sat here I've been reflecting on the last nearly 9 years, and thinking how lucky I've been to meet so many wonderful people. The journey has had its ups and downs, and we've lost some very special people along the way. Alan Long, Andrew Partridge, Nick Besley,Joyce, Marjorie Fowler, Billy Edwards, Micky Dymond and of course the legend that was my own Dad ❤️❤️❤️all of which were supporters of this wonderful pub. This will be our 3rd and final street fair which has always a huge community effort 👌 The quiz nights are always a laugh and your Christmas hats are the the best👌 skittles can be lively!! I think we have the best home teams and I couldn't of asked for a better bunch ❤️🙈 the pensioners lunches are the best place to catch up on village gossip, and they are an amazing bunch.
So I guess what I want to say is THANK YOU ALL for your time, efforts, support, kindness and your help. As a new chapter in our lives starts elsewhere, a new chapter for Lynette and Pete will start here in the Bell, and I hope you will all show them all the love and support that you've shown us as they start getting to grips with the pub and you guys,it was our intention to find a safe pair of hands to guide this wonderful pub onwards and upwards, and I'm sure we have done that ❤️❤️❤️
