Now, talking about squid — you might notice you won’t find the usual squid rings or a whole piece of calamari on your plate here. 😊

That’s because we cut our squid a little differently. We carefully score it before cooking, so when it hits the heat it curls up and opens out almost like a little flower. 🌸🦑

It’s an old-school way of preparing squid that gives it a lovely presentation, but it also helps all that chilli, onion and salt & pepper seasoning get into every little cut. 🌶️

Crispy round the edges, tender inside and very moreish — before you know it, half the plate’s gone! 😂

Just a little heads-up for tonight 😊

We have a large party booked in this evening, so our kitchen may be very busy.

Because of this, we may not be able to take some takeaway or extra eat-in orders during the busiest time. We’ll do our best, and we may be able to take more orders again after 7pm, depending on how the evening goes.
