Today I want to share a little piece of my journey with you.

I came to England when I was young. It wasn’t easy. I didn’t speak English, and everything around me felt unfamiliar. There were moments when I felt lost, unsure, and even afraid. Starting a new life in a different country is never simple—especially when you are trying to find your voice in a language you don’t yet understand.(not google translate 😂)

But along the way, something beautiful happened.

I met people—kind, warm, genuine people—who made me feel welcome. People who reminded me that no matter where we come from, we can find connection, kindness, and belonging. Because of them, I started to feel something I never expected so strongly: that I truly love living on this planet, surrounded by such incredible human beings.

Then came Amore.

“Amore” means love—and for me, it became exactly that. Opening Amore Café was not just about work; it was about passion, about creating something from the heart. I was worried at first—coming from a different country, having a different accent—I wondered if people would accept me.

But instead, I found the most beautiful people.

The people I met at Amore didn’t just become customers or colleagues—they became family. Real family. The kind of family you build through shared moments, laughter, long days, and support when you need it most.

A few days ago, it was my birthday. And what happened truly touched my heart. My Amore family came together with a plan—to send me on a plane to visit my family back home. Because they know something about me… I always work. Work, work, work. And sometimes, I forget to stop and take care of myself.

But they didn’t forget.

Their kindness, their thoughtfulness, their love—it means more to me than I can put into words. It reminded me how lucky I am, how grateful I am, and how deeply connected we can become, even when we start as strangers.

I couldn’t be happier. Truly.

I just want to take a moment to say thank you. Your hard work, dedication, and effort do not go unnoticed. Every long hour, every stressful moment, and every extra bit of care you give truly makes a difference.

After such long and demanding days, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed—but you continue to show up and give your best. I couldn’t be here without each and every one of you older and new staff.Running a business isn’t just what people see on the surface; behind it are long hours, little sleep, and constant challenges. And through it all, you stand strong.

Let’s also never forget our wonderful customers. They are the heart of what we do, and the way you look after them with kindness and professionalism is something to be proud of.
