🌼❤️ LA MICHOAKHANA: A LITTLE PIECE OF MICHOACÁN IN EVERY DISH ❤️🌼
I am from Michoacán, a place where Día de Mu***os is not simply a date on the calendar… it is part of who we are. 💀🌼
A land where the air smells of cempasúchil, where traditions are lived and shared with family, where we remember those who are no longer with us, and where, as Mexicans, we celebrate, gather and come together around food.
Because in Mexico, food is so much more than something we eat.
It is a way of saying “I love you.”
It is bringing the family together around the table.
It is remembering our grandparents.
It is learning recipes by watching and helping in the kitchen.
It is passing our traditions from one generation to the next. ❤️
🇲🇽 La MichoaKhana was born from that little girl who watched her grandparents preparing food for the whole family.
From those kitchens filled with wonderful aromas, stories, laughter and recipes made with time, love and heart.
That little girl grew up and one day decided to carry a little piece of that Mexico with her. ❤️
And that is how La MichoaKhana was born.
A place where every dish tells a story.
Where every flavour carries a memory.
Where every recipe represents a little piece of our roots.
🌼 Because Mexico can also be told through its food.
And this Día de Mu***os, from Liverpool, I want to share with you a little piece of the land I carry in my heart:
