Happy new year all! We’ve been silent on socials (as usual).

Massive thanks to everyone who has supported Murphy’s cafe since we took over in October 2024. After a lot of thought, the cafe will be closed for the foreseeable with the aim to reopen in the warmer months.

But BURGERQ is back full time while Murphy takes some time off. Old menu, reworked, reengineered, burgers, baos, tacos, tenders.

Thanks again for the continued support, wiishing you all the very best for 2026.

Our first day back open this year will be Friday 9th January.

We’re looking for reliable, honest, and friendly people to join our busy cafe/takeaway. If you’re friendly, presentable, approachable and enjoy working with others, this could be perfect for you!

What we’re looking for:
✅ Dependable and trustworthy
✅ Good with customers and team-minded
✅ Flexible – available weekdays & weekends
✅ Able to handle a fast-paced environment
✅ Preferably have a level 2 food hygiene certificate
