What an incredible honour it was for Hillyard House Hotel to provide the refreshments for the UN International Day of Peace event. 🕊️

It was a truly inspiring occasion, featuring wonderful performances from the Interchurch Choir with Mona Owens, the Corrymeela Choir and St Malachy’s School Choir, alongside a powerful keynote address from Roisin Marshall, Chairperson of Corrymeela.

The planting of the Golden Yews at the Peace Maze was a particularly meaningful moment and a beautiful symbol of hope, unity and lasting peace.

A very special thank you to Kathy Black for inviting us to be part of such a memorable occasion. We were delighted to play a small part in this wonderful day.

This Friday 30th October, Hillyard House Hotel, Castlewellan becomes the scene of an unforgettable fully interactive Murder Mystery Experience.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll step into character, receive your own role and become part of the story. Throughout the evening you’ll mingle, question suspects, uncover clues, complete secret missions and work out who committed the murder — all while enjoying a three-course dinner.

Expect twists, secrets, suspicious characters and plenty of laughs as the mystery unfolds around you.
