We’ve hit the jackpot of 1k followers xx Thankyou everyone for your kind support over the past year ….. Autumn menu is now in full flow including our Sunday best which is becoming quite popular . Limited tickets available for our water colour painting workshop and Xmas Victorian evening so get yourselves booked in . We have another special event planned for November so we will have to wait and see on that one xx see you all tomorrow when we open at 9.30am for another busy week xx it’s going to be a warm one xx

Well well well …. You came you, you ate and you conquered our tea room this week with your presence .. Canada has been well represented this last few weeks . A beautiful lady from Whitby in Canada came in today on a walking holiday alongside the other 10 that joined her xx I’m blown away just how much support everyone shows that little tea room . We do love also our quiet moments so that we can talk to our customers that want to chat about their lives ….. we’ve had a wonderful return of a local lady this weekend who has been through the wars the past few weeks and her return to the tea room brought tears ….. We care about each and everyone of you and secretly love it when we find you asleep on our balcony after your tea and scones ….. jeez wait till the alcohol licence arrives you will never want to go home xx Now for a few days recuperation and lots more suprises again. Next week xx stay kind everyone xx

A lovely customer of ours has lost her watch in Castleton this afternoon . The watch is a bracelet watch in gold and silver . Great sentimental value . If you find it please drop it off at the tea room or the premier store and we can return it to the lady asap . She’s really upset xx

Our resident pianist graced us with his little visit for breakfast yesterday . Beans on toast and a decaf coffee was the order of the day and his last one till April he tells me as his moors bus stops running now till next spring . ‘Come to Whitby angela ‘he said and I will show you all around where I live .God bless him …. He entertained the customers on the balcony with his conversations and entertained three wonderful ladies from London, Greece and France . Simply wonderful Peter we will miss you xx
