🔥We're Smoking🔥

We have a new pitmaster - Mr Pook - joining us here at the smokery.
For those of you that don't know, Ed Pook is also Karen's brother and lives here on the farm.
Our new website is in progress and will be available for easy online ordering soon. If you cannot wait that long, we will now be smoking every Wednesday, so get in touch for a full price list or more details - either by sending a DM or drop us an email to [email protected].

Orders will be available to collect at Mr Pook's Kitchen on Thursdays or can be posted out to you.

Dear all,
I have let the jungle drums rumble for a while so some of you may already be aware that we will sadly be closing the restaurant.
Our final service will be on Saturday the 21st of September.
I shall now be looking after the meat smoking at Potterland Smokery and I will also be available as a private chef for bespoke events.
In the coming months, we'll be sharing all the other ideas that have been brewing over the summer. However, there will be future opportunities to sample our cooking and hospitality.
A huge thank you to all who have supported us over the last 6+ years.
It has been a fun adventure but now on to new opportunities.

It's Chanterelle foraging season, and here at Mr. Pook's, we're making the most of it! This delightful, colloquially known "summer's gold" will be a star feature on our menu in the coming weeks.

Many believe that mushrooms come into season in autumn and winter; however, here in Galloway, these are best in mid to late summer.

Come and savour the flavours of freshly foraged Chanterelle mushrooms, only at Mr. Pook's!
