Culinary Temptations specialises in providing fine dining dinner parties and elegant garden parties in the comfort of our clients’ homes. Based in Castle Donington, we deliver exceptional private catering experiences across the UK.
Position Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, detail-oriented individual to join our Office/Admin Team. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our dinner parties and events — from customer booking to final invoicing.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be confident handling multiple tasks, and possess a keen eye for detail. You’ll work closely with the business owner and contribute to the ongoing success of our events and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide a broad range of administrative support across the business
· Work closely with the business owner on daily operations
· Basic bookkeeping: customer invoicing, bank reconciliations, inputting purchase invoices (Experience with QuickBooks would be very advantageous)
· Chase outstanding payments and manage client billing
· Monitor and manage utilities (e.g. sending meter readings, reviewing contracts)
· Manage a busy and fast-paced email inbox
· Handle customer bookings and respond to enquiries
· Make weekly phone calls to confirm booking details with clients
· Send booking confirmation documents, menus, dietary forms, and invoices
· Produce weekly dietary requirements sheets for event planning
· Collate monthly staff availability and coordinate shift schedules
· Type and format quarterly menus using Microsoft Word and PDF tools
· Assist with managing chefs and waiting staff schedules
· Create and post regular updates on social media channels
· Assist with email marketing using tools like Mailchimp
Skills & Experience Required
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Outlook) and QuickBooks
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
· Capable of working independently and taking initiative
· Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
· Social media content creation experience is a plus
· Experience using Mailchimp (or similar mailshot platforms) would be beneficial
Additional Information
Hours: Wednesday – Friday 9am – 3pm
(Hours will be Monday – Wednesday - 9am – 3pm whilst training.)
This is an on-site role, based in Castle Donington.
