Built in 1848 by Frances Ann Vane Tempest, once owned by Sir Winston Churchill and formerly the Londonderry Arms Hotel is now the Harbourview Hotel. The hotel has a total of 35 bedrooms, a restaurant, a bar and events space embracing an elegant homely feel with a coastal chic interior. At the heart of the Harbourview hotel you will find over 400 whiskies from all over the world, for the serious connoisseur and the merely whiskey-curious. The whiskey room will allow you to experience the growing popularity of Irish Whiskey including the hotel owner’s own Outwalker and Limavady brands, featured in classic Irish coffee or house pours. The hotel will also offer a programme of whiskey events, fireside stories with master distillers, whiskey dinners and tasting with exclusive whiskies. A tapped cask will be available for residents’ nightcaps or even to place on their porridge.
