We are taking a week off to unwind after a long and busy summer so the Tearoom will be closed from Wed 9th - Sun 13th September and we will be back fully recharged on Wed 16th.

Well we haven't had much rain, just a few light showers, and certainly no thunderstorms! The umbrellas outside work really well keeping people dry in light showers and it's still really humid 😁

Who better to bring a little cuteness to your feed on National Dog Day?

The icon. The legend. The one and only Doug the Pug. 🐾

Doug was one of stars of our Kendal to Stainton campaign back in December, and it’s fair to say he broke hearts across Cumbria with his adorableness.

You might spot Doug enjoying the trail from the comfort of his dog pram. He can’t walk very far these days, but he still loves getting out, taking in the sights and being part of a good Towpath Trail adventure.

Because exploring the trail doesn’t have to look the same for everyone, or every dog. 🐶
