Just when we started collecting medical blister packs in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind, I am afraid we will have to stop. Morecambe Metals were accepting them, but they had their last load rejected at the smelting plant.
I am sorry we have to stop, it does seem such a waste to put them in your general waste. If any one comes across another outlet for these packets, please let us know.
At the chip shop we are still collecting tin foil and aluminium cans in aid of Guide Dogs. At other points around the village there are collecting bins for aluminium cans, the revenue from these goes to the hall renovations at the WI hall.

(Apparently you can take 5 blister packs per week in to certain branches of Boots and get 100 advantage points)
