Well it’s official, I’m now retired!

The keys were handed back in to the Council today and I said my last farewell to Tea by the Sea. ☕️🌊

I would like to say a massive thank you to my daughter Amanda Davies for all of her hard work and support throughout the years, and I wish her the best of luck in her new career where I know she will excel.

And another massive thank you to my husband Tony Gray for being the best general dogsbody a woman could ever ask for (you will be glad to see the back of the phone calls with emergency requirements from the cafe)

And finally, thank you for all of the good wishes that I have received, it really does mean a lot.

It is with very mixed emotions that I am announcing that I have officially hung up my apron and I am retiring and therefore closing Tea By The Sea.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the customers who have walked through our doors over the years, our loyal regulars, those who have popped in on day trips and those who have been on their holidays……without all of you none of this would have been possible.

A big thank you again to everyone who has worked with us, it’s safe to say that we definitely had a good laugh and I will miss all of you.

I will also be forever grateful for the new friendships that have been made along the way.

Tea by the Sea will forever remain in my heart but I’m now looking forward to spending lots more time with my family and friends.

Just to add, this is a photograph from last summer and we do not have seating available outside at the moment. We are only serving takeaway food and drink, in line with the current Government guidelines. ☕️🌊
