Big start to winter coming up!! Time to get the hot food back on the go! From Tuesday we will have our Cawl back on the menu!! I know we start it a little later than everyone else and I know you’ve been getting it elsewhere but the governor is back from holiday and ready to clean up the murky streets of Cawlville!! Served with a crusty baguette and cheese as usual and unlike the petrol we are NOT moving the price per litre!!!

I’m going to start rustling up a few soups for you lovely folk as well! Any soup suggestions just let me know!! I won’t do them every day,it’ll be when I get time!!

Every other week as you know we do Sunday dinners. So in between those weeks through October/November/January and February I’ll be doing a pie and mash day! Not on the Sunday,Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday or Thursday but on a Pieday!! We will have 4 different types of pies. Steak and ale,Chicken and chorizo,Lamb and mint, steak and Stilton and I’ll find something grassy for the veggies!! There will be two types of mash, your normal boring buttery mash or a cheesy garlic mash!! These will be served with peas and proper meaty homemade gravy or morning dew for the veggies!!
Ordering ahead for Piedays will be advisable! I will be making 12 of each pie. When they are gone they are gone! They are going to be proper tasty, warming and comforting I promise!!
I am toying with a little sponge and custard as a palate sweetener and making it into a meal deal too! You’ll know when I know!!

Christmas dinners are back on the page. Get booking!! When they are gone they are gone 🖤🤍

🎅🏻🤶🎄 Christmas Day dinners🧑🏻‍🎄🎅🏻🎄

Tired of stressing over Christmas dinner? Sick of cooking on the one day off you’d love to enjoy in peace? Let me deal with it for you!! Christmas Day dinners are available again this year. Pick up will be between 10am and 11:30 am on Christmas morning. A full Christmas dinner,Roasted turkey crown and Silverside of beef on all dinners, yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes, roasted parsnips, cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets, mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, cabbage, sprouts, swede, homemade stuffing and plenty of proper homemade gravy. We don’t stop there! A homemade dessert, apple crumble, homemade white chocolate, vanilla and malteser cheesecake or our incredible baked Christmas pudding cheesecake. We don’t stop there! We also provide Christmas crackers and our amazing homemade mince pies to round it all off!!
Yes you can go out for dinner and pay £60/£70/£80 per person and that’s all well and good but what do you have when you get home? NOTHING! No delightful smell,no leftover for bubble and squeak and a MASSIVE hole in your bank account!
Unfortunately, after keeping the price the same for the last 3 years, due to the cost of packaging nearly tripling, there is a slight increase in price 😔 We don’t take advantage of anyone financially and strive to make this offer suitable for families big and small. Our dinners this year will be £30 per person. We DO NOT do children’s meals. For the very few that are physically unable to make it to the shop,I will deliver to you. As always the numbers we do will be set and when they’re gone, they’re gone,so get in touch ASAP to book.
A £10 per person non refundable deposit will be needed by October 31st and full payment by December 1st.
