πWe have an announcement to makeπ
After three years of battling to remain open , it is with a heavy heart that Caffi Traeth will stop trading and close it's doors this Sunday the 1st of October π₯Ί
This hasn't been an easy decision, however, it is for the best. And rest assured we have explored every other option.
I, as the owner, have been given an opportunity to finally use my skills that I developed in the three years of university which i would be a fool to pass up on, and dad and Phil are also finally doing what they have always loved and have always been good at.
During these past three years of owning my beautiful little caffi, myself and my team have had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful customers that have became our friends, and this is the main aspect as to why I have continued to fight against the cards I was dealt as a business owner time and time again regarding COVID, staff shortages, stock shortages, price increases, sabotage, fires and energy battles....all the resilience I had waa for all of you, our customers.
But selfishly enough right now, I am making the decision to close for my own mental benefits and put my hands up and admit that the hospitality industry is continuing on a downward slope since covid and there is nothing me and my resilience can do to make things better anymore.
Believe me, I have tried every pathway to continue, time and time again just for you, our lovely and loyal customers.
Now it's time for myself and my team to regain a life outside of this industry, it will be weird for us all not working the long hours, using every waking minute talking about the caffi and actually having weekends off, but we will all adapt in time.
But for now, if you are planning on spending the final weekend with us at the caffi, send us a message to reserve Sunday spaces as these are flying out as you can imagine.
We would like to thank all our customers for your love and support since the very beginning!
And to all my staff members over the years for all their hard work and for loving my little business the same way I have , and to my friends and family for their ongoing support, for volunteering on days where the caffi was just to busy to be manned by 2 members of staff. To my dad for all his hard work helping me get my business up off the ground after every single economic set back, and for Phil for helping me get through this past year.... I appreciate you all!
π It's goodbye for now π
With love and gratitude,
The Caffi Traeth Team.
