Right, Saturday calls, but I won't be answering!

I needed to be closed for a family wedding tomorrow anyway, but after today, I won't be attending either the wedding or the park!

Some weeks work; some kick you in the face!

You don't need details, other than our NHS staff seldom get the recognition they deserve! I needed them today, and they were there; hot, over worked, under staffed and under appreciated. I know a good few of my customers work in the emergency services, and I doff my cap to the lot of you!

I'll be mended and back in the park on Tuesday, but until then, have a lovely weekend, support local, and raise a glass to those who are there when we need them most.

Iced black coffee anyone?

This stuff is mega!

It's hot as f # this week, and while I may be quieter than usual, I'll be in the park under the trees keeping cool with this drink ☝️

Iced coffee differs from one cafe to another, but as always there is nothing fancy here; No cream, no biscuits, no syrups. Very good coffee, served hot or cold, and I might even smile at you 🤷‍♂️😀

Dog walks are finally becoming colourful!

It's been a cold, windy May so far, and I'll be honest, I'm done with it! I've always been an "I prefer winter to summer" person but I can't wait for a little bit of warmth.

September was a long time ago, and standing in that carpark for the last 7 months has been anything but warm.

But there are signs! Aside from the weather apps. Spotted this butterfly sitting on a Dandelion, and I just sat and watched it while the dogs played and the kids ran around. Life is busy, the world is a mess, people are divided, work life balance is tricky, it's hard to buy good coffee and yet, I sat and watched a butterfly for about 15 minutes and it was easily the most peaceful part of my day.

Hoping the good weather brings people out and I'll see some of you in the park soon

In conclusion; when it all gets too much, seek out small wins. (Good coffee is a small win 😉)

Cheers to you all!

Once again, thank you all for the support you've shown me this year, I wouldn't be there without you all.

To start 2026 off with a bang, I'll be working tomorrow, New Year's Day, for all those out walking off tonight's indulgences. The weather looks breezy and cold, but if you want a decent coffee and a bit of flap jack, you know where I'll be!

Have a good evening, whatever you're doing, and I'll see some of you tomorrow hopefully.

Well, that's me all closed for the next week.

Christmas; I'm not against it, but I find it hard, because someone close to me finds it difficult. It's not for everyone, so I wish you all a merry Christmas, or a happy week off, whichever best suits you xx

The last couple of months have been a little rough for me, which has a knock on effect for the van. I hate to be unreliable, but family and my own health always take priority, and I thank you for your support and understanding xx

I'll be back next week for a few days, those days to be confirmed sooner to the time, and I'm genuinely looking forward to it.
