New to town or just never found your way to our doorstep? 🗺️🚫

​Let’s be honest, navigating a city can be a whirlwind—but our General Manager, Yarn, is here to make sure your visit to Bordo Lounge is smooth sailing!

​We know our locals might have walked past a dozen times without realizing we’re tucked right next to Tesco, and we know our tourists are looking for the perfect spot to refuel after exploring. Yarn has put together a quick guide to show you the easiest route from Carlisle Train Station straight to us.

​Follow along as he takes you through the heart of our beautiful city, points out the landmarks, and even attempts a "fun" history lesson about the Citadel.

​We have to point out that Yarn is much better at running a lounge than he is at history—the Citadel was actually commissioned by Henry VIII, not the Romans! 😉

What started as a plan to walk from Bordo to Arturo turned into a proper 25-mile trek across the Cumbrian countryside today.

We set out on the Cumbria Way, but followed a random mix of footpaths that definitely added to the adventure!

A massive shoutout to our faithful companion, Gustav, for absolutely crushing the distance—he walked every single mile right alongside us. 🐕

The big day is almost here! 🥾

Tomorrow, Matt, Alex, and I are swapping the Bordo Lounge apron for our walking shoes as we trek all the way to Arturo Lounge in Penrith! 🐾

​We’re raising funds for the amazing and our wonderful supervisors Eloise and Leona are already busy predicting who’s going to have the best pace (and they’ve definitely picked a favorite!). 😉

​We’re so passionate about supporting our furry friends and making sure they get all the love they need while waiting for their forever homes. We would absolutely love for you to cheer us on by donating! Every little bit helps make a real difference for the animals we love so much. 🐶✨

Hello Everyone!

It's Me and Matt Again. And we've got another Announcement! 🚨

​On June 15th, we are dragging our boots from Bordo Lounge all the way to Arturo Lounge in Penrith.

​I’m clearly vibrating with "let’s do this" energy, while Matt is giving his classic "did you actually check the mileage on Google Maps, or did you just invent this" face.

We’ve even conned a front of house team member into joining the madness—they’re currently regretting their life choices, but they’re committed to the cause!

​We’re putting our feet on the line to raise money for . We need you to sponsor us—mostly so Matt has a financial reason to keep walking when he realizes just how far Penrith actually is.

JUST A LITTLE PSA

It’s time for a little downtime.

On Monday 8th of June we are closed. All of our sister lounges and cosy clubs are as well.

We promise we are sad to miss your faces but we are genuinely so excited for our annual staff party!

🕊️ Honestly, can you blame us?

We’re taking the day to let off some steam as a team, but we’ll be back behind the bar and ready to serve you on June 9th at 10am sharp. (Possibly a bit worse for the wear 🤫)
