Crofton Hall itself was demolished around 1956 leaving behind an adjacent stable block, walled garden, formal gardens and subterranean icehouse, Coachman’s house, stone entrance archway with gatehouses, deer park and lake; not to mention several estate farms and other houses. All of the buildings have been recently renovated and house successful businesses such as Soul Speak Holistic Therapists, Enefftech UAV, Liquid Logic Media Studio, Cotton Tails bespoke Children's clothing made famous by the Peter Rabbit brand, Upland Clay Pottery, Evolve Yoga, Empower Personal Training. Glazed Expressions fused glass art, Crofton Hall five pitch caravan site, Crofton Hall storage and a lovely fishing lake all make for a wonderful setting. We love the history, vista, view and gardens of Crofton that can still be seen today. The stone arch which starts the journey into the estate, the stunning orangery in the shadow of the beautiful courtyard which is where our coffee shop is. I'm sure you will love our little Artisan village at Crofton and encourage you to come and have a look around.

Both road entrances into Crofton Hall from the A596 and A595 are now fully OPEN 🚗💨

So, on that basis… there are officially NO EXCUSES! 😂😉

🚧 ROADWORKS UPDATE – FRIDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 🚧

Well… if the roadworks weren’t enough of a problem for Crofton Hall this week, to top it all off our water decided to go off yesterday afternoon! 😩💦

Unfortunately, with no water we couldn’t do anything and had no choice but to close for the afternoon. 😔

Thankfully, THE WATER IS BACK ON! 🙌💦 And today we are back up and running on FULL STEAM! ☕🍰🍽️

Now, just to clear up the road situation once again…

🚗 BOTH SIDES of the A596 and A595 have access!
🚧 There are road closure signs, BUT there are also BUSINESS OPEN AS USUAL signs.
➡️ The closure is over ONE LANE, meaning there is still another lane available to get through.
🔄 Access is available from BOTH directions.

So PLEASE, PLEASE don’t let the roadworks put you off coming to see us! ❤️

With OVER THREE MONTHS of road closures this year, we really, really need your support. 🙏❤️ Every customer through the door makes a huge difference to our little business. The roadworks were due to finish today and we are keeping everything crossed that this goes ahead.

As you will have seen, there are STILL road closure signs in place next to “Businesses Open as Usual” signs… 🤦‍♀️😂

If that’s not confusing, then carry on! 😂

But here’s the important bit… ❤️👇

✅ BOTH sides of the road have access from the A596 and the A595.
✅ One lane is accessible from both sides.
✅ We ARE open as usual! ☕️🍰🍽️

This is now around the 10th week of road closures we’ve had this year, and as a small independent business, trying to survive through all of this is incredibly challenging — especially with everything else going on during the current financial crisis. 💷😔

🚧 ROADWORKS UPDATE – WE ARE OPEN AS USUAL! ☕️💚

We just wanted to reassure all our lovely customers that Crofton Hall Coffee Shop & Eatery is fully accessible today! 🙌

Even though one side of the road into Crofton is currently closed for roadworks, the road from both the A595 and A596 is still accessible to the Coffee Shop. 🚗✅

I came through the archway myself this morning, and as you can see from the video, you simply need to go around the cones and roadworks to get through. There are also signs confirming that businesses are open as usual. 👍

So please don’t let the roadworks put you off! Come along, grab yourself a lovely coffee ☕️, enjoy some delicious food 🍽️ and support your local businesses. ❤️

🚧 ROADWORKS UPDATE – WE ARE STILL OPEN & ACCESSIBLE FROM WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY THIS WEEK🚧

As if we haven’t been taxed and tested enough this year 😩, we have yet another road closure through Crofton!

We are aware that the council have put yellow road closure signs up, but I have spoken directly with Viberoptix, who have confirmed that there WILL be access to Crofton from either one end of the road or the other. 🙌

They are hoping to have the work completed by Wednesday, and as we don’t open until Wednesday, I’m really hoping it will all be finished by the time we reopen! 🤞

However, I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up that there will be roadworks taking place, but access to Crofton Hall will remain available. ❤️

👉 PLEASE IGNORE THE ROAD CLOSURE SIGNS AND CONTINUE TO USE US!
We are OPEN and we want to see you! ☕️🍰❤️

This year alone we have had:
💧 Road closures for waterworks
⚡ Road closures for electricity works
🌐 Road closures for internet works

And every single one of these puts huge pressure on small independent businesses like ours here at Crofton Hall. 😔

So we are once again asking for your patience and continued support. ❤️ Your visits really do make a difference to us.
