We use high oleic sunflower oil for all our frying 🍟

It’s not the cheapest—but it gives a cleaner taste, crispier chips, and contains beneficial fats like Omega 3.

We’ve discovered Babylon… and it’s just up the road..

Babylon potato variety 🥔 grown 4 miles away by Norton Farm Potatoes and deep fried by us..
. because local chips just taste better 😉

Norton farm delivered potatoes last Friday, and (Harry) spotted two small leaves and a tuber growing near to our fan.

Harry then pointed out the plant is a potato seedling, casually 'earthed up' the tuber with his bare hands, and went back to his lorry..

Norton Farm are clearly hardcore potato fanatics.. 😁

Fishcakes; what is there to say?

How about - 10cm wide, 50% cod, creamy mash with fresh parsley and a crisp golden crumb?

Naturally Gluten Free, and served with a wedge of fresh lemon and tartare sauce..

* New! Custard slices (gf), Chocolate Brownies (gf) and Millionaires Shortbread (gf) ready to collect alongside *Wine and beer* (gf) from our fridge

* Coeliac Uk re-inspection due in April

Milton Chip Shop (Pembrokeshire) is now *Closed* until April 2026

We have totally enjoyed serving everyone this Season, and look forward to doing it all again next year

While the shop is closed; Rebecca and myself will be travelling for inspiration, starting in Manchester's Chinatown (Schezwan), Birmingham (Curry) and Scotland's NC500 (Whisky and Haggis) 😁 ..
