It feels good to be back!

After a week away, we’re back to the early starts, back to the smell of bread baking, back to flour everywhere.

A reminder that we’re closed this week! We’ve celebrated love at a very special family wedding this weekend and now off to Centre Parcs!

We’ll be back open from Monday 31st. We’ll respond to messages and enquiries then as we’re attempting to fully switch off 💛

Bore da! Good morning!

We’re at Cardigan Farmers’ Market today in the Guildhall, 10am-2pm (or until we sell out)! 🥖

If you’re around, come say hi and grab some goodies. We’ve got fresh bread, focaccia, lemon tarts with Swiss meringue, cookies, carrot cakes, brownies and lots more.

Everything is 100% gluten free! We have some dairy-free and vegan bits too.

You’re probably wondering…what does HEB actually mean?

Well, if you’re one of the NEARLY 1000 people who’ve joined us since we last shared this, here’s your answer:

HEB means ‘without’ in Welsh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and for a gluten free bakery, it couldn’t be more perfect.

Because without gluten should never mean without flavour, texture, indulgence or the joy of eating something ridiculously delicious.

We’re here to prove that gluten free doesn’t have to mean compromise.

HEB = without.
Without gluten. Without compromise.
Our kitchen is a dedicated gluten free and also, nut free! Many of our bakes are also dairy free, egg free and vegan! But you’d never know.

Now you know. And if you’re gluten free (or just love really good bakes), stick around. 👀

Some things are worth waiting for 🌞

Soft handmade dough, good rock salt, a bunch of rosemary, a generous drizzle of olive oil…

then into the oven until the edges are golden, the middle is soft, and the whole kitchen smells like freshly baked focaccia. Aaaaaah.

Turn the sound on and stay for the golden crust at the end 🐦🤍🌞
