Doesn't look as though we will be open tomorrow guys. Sharon is feeling pretty rough atm and it's unlikely that she'll be ok to work. I'll let you know tomorrow morning as to what's happening. Regardless, I'll be in the shop at 5.30am clearing stuff out if anyone wants to come and have me curse at them for making me open the door. Have a good night

Morning folks. Not sure that we will be open today. When I came in, there was an awful racket coming from inside the shop. At first I thought the someone was listening Coldplay, but alas it appears that our serving counter has had enough, and has a gone a bit dodgy. Currently trying to get hold of the engineer, but as it stands, it's looking like a no go. Will keep you informed.

I'm sure it has probably escaped some of you, but the Eisteddfod kicks off this weekend. It's going to be busy as truck. I know we tell folk every year to phone your orders in to avoid the queues. But really, this time you actually need to pay attention and do it. Give us 15 mins then jump the queue. If they look grumpy 😠 about it it's their own fault for not calling it in.

We get an awful lot of junk phone calls, mostly overseas call centres trying to sell electric contracts. It's a bit tiresome tbh. So to make it more fun, I tell them that our number which ends in 006 is the dedicated order line and they need to call 007 and ask for James. If it's your number, I apologise for the increase in calls. It's the small wins.

Morning guys. We aren't going to be able to open again. The temperature in here is so bad that none of our fridge temps are within the legal limits. So we are going to have to trash all the contents and hope that it cools down enough over the weekend. Sorry for the hassle but it's the only option. See you Monday.

Morning all. Well we had every intention of opening today but the temperature in the shop at 7am was already in the mid thirties. Once the ovens went on it would have pushed to the low forties and that's just too damn hot. Hopefully we will be open tomorrow. Keep hydrated and remember this is the perfect excuse to eat a s**t load of ice cream. Take care out there.

As you may have noticed it's getting a bit sweaty out there, and funnily enough that means it's definitely hitting Betty Squallocks hot in the shop. The temperature today was already hitting 35°c and making us feel a little rough. So to try to combat this we are going to reduce our opening hours for the rest of the week. The new times will be open at 10am and closing at 2pm. Thankfully it looks as though it should get cooler next, and we'll go back to our normal times. Keep hydrated and stay cool folks

Sharon has been busy, and has made a very delicious Caesar dressing. Yum chicken Caesar salad. Yes you can have it in a baguette or a salad pot. But obviously we would be happier if it's a baguette, because we had making salad pots. Like really hate. Melania and Donald levels of hate. See you later
