A treat for me from Wenyn Shop (the shop to the front of the salon) in this heatwave - the dog salon is actually nice and cool so your doggies are absolutely safe and sound in here with my industrial fan, cooling system, and I’m using the cool settings on the bath and dryer 👌🏻

British Flowers Week: 15–21 June

Why Welsh flowers?

Because provenance matters. 🌿

Locally grown, seasonal blooms reflect the land, the care of their growers, and the communities they support. Wild stems, shifting colours, and natural fragrance make every bouquet unique.

Lydia from Pembrokeshire Petals grows flowers locally in Cardigan from UK sourced seeds, enriches her soil naturally, and supports pollinators with her bee hives. Sustainable, beautiful, and full of character.

In 2023, the UK spent £3.8 billion on cut flowers—but only a tiny fraction was local. Let’s change that. Support local growers, reduce carbon footprints, and enjoy flowers at their best.

This week we will be celebrating British Flowers Week by having a few of her flowers available EVERY day. Be quick though as supply will be limited and first to buy a bunch each day gets a free coffee.
