Tuesday 7th July - Huw Warren’s Brazil Special - Huw Warren Piano, Matheus Prado Bass, Liz Exell Drums. An evening of Brazilian classics by Hermeto, Egberto, Tom Jobim and Chico Buarque, alongside original compositions by Huw Warren and Matheus Prado. Grooves, Melodies and beautiful Harmony -perfect summer vibes!
Wednesday 8th July - Jacob’s Ladder -
James Cox - Guitar/compositions, Daisy Anderson - Flute, Yaryna Veresotska - Trumpet, Benedict Stephens - Double Bass and Phil Thompson - Drums. The original music performed by the group is all composed by James Cox and draws inspiration from his homelife growing up in the broad horizons, and open skies of the county of Suffolk in the UK. Compositional influences draw from his time at college but also further back to his inherited music taste from friends and family. Influences of the group are diverse: from the tradition of folk music in Daisy Anderson, being from Shetland, to the Ukrainian tradition of music in Yaryna’s playing, the group has a unique chemistry creating a sonic identity

Wednesday 15th July - Joe Northwood's jam session - yet again, a universe class rhythm section drawn from the four corners of Cardiff and environs, followed by the participation of a prime collection of the vagabond persuasion
Tuesday 21st July - Benedict Stephens quartet - Patrick Barret-Donlon (drums), Tom Barber (Keys), John Johnson (voice) and Benedict on bass playing arrangements by Bill Henderson and the Oscar Peterson Trio, plus a few of our own arrangements in a similar style
Wednesday 22nd July - Glen Manby bebop quartet - Glen Manby alto saxophone, Eddie Gripper piano, Benedict Stephens bass, Sam Green drums
