What a lovely first morning of the BfN/Honeycomb combo! It was lovely to spend a Friday morning chatting and playing and supporting!

There is no Milky Mondays group today! This group has now changed to Fridays 10am-12pm (still in the Blue Room at Grange Pavilion). We hope to see you there!

1 MORE DAY TO GO!!

Excited to have our first Milky Fridays session tomorrow, no booking necessary and free to attend. The Honeycomb Toys & Books baby session will be running in the Blue room too so do check out their wonderful library of toys!!

💜 BIG NEWS!! 💜

Our BFN Grangetown group is joining forces with The Honeycomb Toys & Books! This means we will be moving to

FRIDAYS at the Pavilion, 10 - 12pm 😊🙏😍
(Apr 17th will be our first one!)

We are still in the Blue Room, it's still free to attend and still a walk-in session you can bring a friend/partner/support to👌

This is something we hope will work well for everybody, please bear with us while we make necessary changes to this page and our main one - and if you can help spread the word all the better 😊

We would like to thank all the lovely families that have visited us since opening, the Grange Pavilion for their consistent support and of course our passionate volunteers - Julie, Sophie, Rhian, Chrissy, Natalie & Maia - your hard work and dedication to these families means so much. The contribution of your time and effort has been most appreciated - thank you all! 🙏

The Maternity Service’s Seren Team runs weekly drop-in hours and appointment slots in specialist breastfeeding clinics for babies up to 28 days old. You can self-refer for an appointment slot by emailing [email protected]! ✉️

👶🏻 if you have any breastfeeding questions or concerns, come and have your latch checked and baby weighed with the Seren team.

🌟Tuesday — 9am to 12.30pm (appointment only) and 1pm to 3pm (drop-in) at Woodville Christian Centre, Crwys Rd, CF24 4ND.
🌟Friday — 1pm to 3pm (drop-in) at St David’s Hospital (Children Centre), Cowbridge Road East, CF11 9XB.
🌟Sunday — 1pm-3pm (drop-in) at Antenatal Clinic, University Hospital of Wales, Heath Park, CF14 4XQ

Myth busting…….

MYTH: If you go back to work you will need to stop breastfeeding.


FACT: Many parents continue to breastfeed when returning to work and your rights are protected by Law. The Law requires an employer to provide somewhere for a breastfeeding employee to rest. We can support you during this transition to help you to achieve your breastfeeding goals, even when you return to the workplace.

If you are returning to work soon and would like to continue to breastfeed but need help figuring out the logistics, drop into one of our community groups to speak to one of our trained Peer Supporters. If you can’t get to a group, you can book a virtual 1:1 via Eventbrite.
