WE’RE HIRING A DELI CHEF

Our new Square + Fair on Wellfield Road is open, and we’re looking for a brilliant Deli Chef to take ownership of the food side of the shop.

This isn’t a traditional kitchen chef role. You’ll be right at the heart of the action, working behind our counter, finishing and serving our giant focaccias, making sure everything looks incredible and bringing that proper chef’s eye to everything we put in front of our customers.

We’re looking for someone who loves fresh food, takes presentation seriously and has ridiculously high standards when it comes to organisation, cleanliness and hygiene.

You’ll need personality too. This is an open, customer facing role and a big part of what makes Square + Fair feel like Square + Fair.

WE’RE HIRING, WELLFIELD ROAD 📍

You probable heard we got a new store in Wellfield Road and we are looking for some new team members.

Our new Square + Fair on Wellfield Road is growing, and we’re looking for a brilliant Assistant Manager to join the team.

We’re building a proper neighbourhood coffee and sandwich shop, fast paced, coffee obsessed, chef led and big on personality.

We’re looking for someone with hospitality or coffee shop experience who loves great service, great food and being part of a busy team. Someone who can lead from the front, solve problems, keep standards high and bring plenty of energy to the shop.

WELLFIELD RD SERIES EPISODE 7🥳

IT’S OPENING DAY! We’ve got three new delicious focaccia’s as part of our new menu, Cardiff’s first edible cup & all of our fan favourites available!

We’re open till 7:30pm this evening so come by as we’d love to see you!

TODAY WE SAID GOODBYE TO SMASH PADEL 👋

After almost a year as the caterer at Smash Padel in Llandaff Fields, today was our final day.

We’ve had a brilliant time supporting the launch of Smash Padel in Cardiff, meeting so many great people along the way and being part of something completely new for the city.

A few months ago, though, we made the difficult decision not to continue our partnership.

As Square + Fair has grown, we’ve become clearer than ever about what the brand is and where it belongs.

We’re a high street brand at heart.

Fast paced. Coffee obsessed. Chef led sandwiches. Great people. Great spaces. Right in the middle of the communities we serve.

One thing we promised ourselves as we grow Square + Fair is that we’d stay completely true to that identity. No diluting it. No trying to make it fit somewhere it doesn’t. Just building a brand we really believe in.

So while leaving Llandaff Fields was a tough decision, it was the right one for the next chapter of Square + Fair.

A huge thank you to everyone at Smash Padel for having us as part of their first year in Cardiff, and to every single person who grabbed a coffee, sandwich or stopped for a chat with us along the way.

Our exciting journey continues.

And we’re only just getting started.
