Thursday the 23rd of September 2021.
I softly opened the doors of Annwn last Thursday. We put in a lot of hours last week to get everything ready. Moving in was exciting, emotional and quite exhausting.
Just pulling up to this stunning little building gives me a wonderful feeling.
The building is tucked away and Annwn covers the top floor of this old building.
The restaurant overlooks the wonderful Walled Garden, where I grow my own vegetables and there are herbs galore to soon use in my culinary inventions.
My mind is spinning with new dish ideas and how to improve things. I have to keep things grounded at the moment though and the opening will be soft for now as we find our feet.
Looking through the trees from the Walled Garden side you can get a glimpse of the Cleddau waterway. I get glimpses of the tide coming in and out throughout the day from the kitchen window and from the glass paned doors.
It all feels like a dream, for me its a dream come true.
