The words in this post will fall short to describe how we feel.

It’s been an intense week with mixed emotions and tears. We are very grateful to everyone who has visit the café throughout these 3 years.

We feel very touched by the amount of appreciation that we have received this week, your words and gestures have meant a lot to us. We can only show a small part of it in the photo, but we can’t show the words and emotions you’ve shared with us.

Thank you for all your comments and direct messages on social media. Thank you to all of you who have gone out of your way, even postponed your holidays to visit us one last time; thank you to the ones who have come several times this week (even several times a day) for still another coffee or slice of cake; thank you to everyone who has popped in to the café this week and your words and presents. Thank you also for your patience this week with all the delays with the orders, we are sorry we couldn’t spend longer speaking with you. We feel very loved.

We opened this little café with the mission of making the world a better place for both humans and animals. Although it has ended sooner than we initially envisioned, you have proven us that at least we have partially achieved it; and that fills us with joy.

In these last 3 years we have learned for one thing for sure, when you are truthful to your heart and your mission, you never know who you are touching.

We don’t want to end this post without mentioning:wholesaler and - thank you for supplying us with your extraordinary products and outstanding customer service, we’ve certainly learned a lot from you!
- you’ve taught us the value of collaboration, thank you for your friendship!!
- guys, your determination, focus and resilience is admirable! We’ll be forever grateful for your friendship and support, which has helped us going through the toughest times.

For all this and much more that’s not possible to express…THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Thanks so much for all your lovely messages 💚, we feel overwhelmed and quite emotional!!

Here we have our last big cake at the café, a super special moist lemon cake with thick lemon cream, blueberry sauce and topped with delicious wild blueberry jam!😋🍰😋🍰

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that we will be closing our doors on Saturday.

We are grateful to all our customers, it’s been a pleasure to get to know you.

We’ll still be open this week for sit in and takeaway Wed-Sat 10am to 4.30pm; and will be serving our regular menu, as usual.
