If anyone is interested in history of coffee, pop in to St Fagan’s History Museum to see this beauty of an espresso machine. It was powered by steam and could make 4 coffees at once! Luigi Giovanni Rabaiotti talks about Italian families coming to the valleys and opening coffee shops. Apparently these were on every corner! How fascinating

We had a fantastic time today thanks to everyone for lovely conversations! Can’t believe we also had a chat with a lady who used to grow coffee in a massive farm! Incredible things you can learn just by having a simple chat :)

We believe Santas deserve proper coffee.
So we picked a gorgeous fruity Honduran bean and roasted it last Thursday—because even Santa knows you don’t drink coffee that’s too fresh.
“But what about traceability?” I hear you ask.
Don’t worry, we’ve gone full nerd: the exact GPS coordinates of the farm are printed right on the bag. Yes, really. You can literally stalk your coffee.
And because elves move slow this time of year, we’ve only managed to produce three bags.
So if you’re a Santa in need of a festive boost, better warn the elves—
these won’t stick around longer than a mince pie on Christmas Eve. Only on 30th November in Pentyrch Village Hall 2-4 pm. See you there!
