As you will know by now, in August we will be hanging our aprons up for the final time as we bid farewell to Mizzi and say hello to retirement!🎉

Could you give Mizzi a second home or do you know someone who could take over from us?

We've worked really really hard over the past few years to build up the business and it would be a real shame to see a great opportunity for a budding entrepreneur to go to waste!

As many of you may have already heard, our time in Pierhead Street is coming to an end.

We battled through the pandemic, when the offices closed we reached out to local residents and even offered curbside collections, as the offices started to fill up again we welcomed back all our regulars, for this we are very grateful and we are happy to be leaving in a much better position to where we were in March 2020.

You will have noticed we are busy again, however as our lease had a break option at five years we had always planned our exit at this time. We aim to take things a little easier and enjoy more time with our family who are scattered around the country. Mick will be looking forward to a well earned retirement after 50 years in the hospitality and catering business, and will no doubt be found lakeside with his carp rods in the water, I will return to my Prom Dress business (established in 2008) in the east of Cardiff, to where I have been dashing off to every afternoon after lunch was served.

Our last day will be Friday 19th of August, but until then it is business as usual with lots of fab breakfasts, lunches and office buffets to be had.

In the meantime please spread the word to friends and family members that the entire contents of the shop, kitchen, website and online shop, along with the goodwill of the business and support from us is available for sale. It would be great to see the business we built to continue in the area.
