A very fond farewell – and an exciting new beginning at Lakeside as Ballers heads back to its roots…
We’re sorry to say that Ballers Pizza will not be reopening its doors this February. Ballers has been a fun, bold part of our journey, and we’re HUGELY grateful to everyone who supported it, dined with us, and helped bring the space to life.
That said, this isn’t goodbye to Ballers - the Ballers brand is not dead. It’s simply evolving. Moving forward, Ballers will shift away from a bricks-and-mortar restaurant and instead focus on, pop-ups and event-led appearances, where the playful, high-energy spirit of the brand truly thrives.
The Ballers site will soon be transformed into Park Side Bakery & Deli, an expansion of our much-loved Park Side offering at Lakeside and a concept we’ve been eager to bring to the area.
This new bakery and deli will allow us to produce our own breads, pastries and cakes in-house, baked fresh daily. These will be available to buy directly from a deli-style counter on site, as well as supplied to our Heath Park location.
Alongside our baked goods, the deli will offer a carefully curated selection of savoury takeaway options, including freshly made sandwiches, hot paninis, wholesome bites, and a range of pantry-style deli items to enjoy at home.
The unit will receive a full refresh to bring it in line with the Park Side brand aesthetic, sitting seamlessly alongside Park Side Kitchen next door.
By relocating all takeaway food into the new bakery and deli, Park Side Kitchen will be able to focus exclusively on delivering a relaxed, high-quality dine-in restaurant experience.
While we say goodbye to Ballers, we’re proud to be reinvesting locally and bringing something fresh, craft-led and exciting to Lakeside.
