Renew is on tomorrow from 10am–12pm at Ainon Baptist Church back hall.

Come along for a relaxed morning with arts and crafts, table activities, pool, our quiet meditation room, and of course plenty of tea, coffee and cake.

If you’re working on a project at home, patchwork, sewing, knitting or another craft, feel free to bring it along and work on it with us, we always have a table set aside for projects like this..

We’re also starting a special poppy craft project tomorrow to help St Michael's Church, Tongwynlais (in advance) with their Remembrance Sunday display. If you have any empty plastic bottles you can bring along, we’d really appreciate them.

Don't forget Jaye from Citizen advice is here with us during Renew and also during foodbank collection in the afternoon until 4pm. Jaye loves visitors so if you need any advice about housing, employment, foodbank vouchers etc please pop in. No appointment is needed and there's not usually a queue but feel free to join us for a cuppa if you do have to wait a few minutes.

Renew is completely free, there’s no need to book, and everyone is welcome. Just pop along, we’d love to see you. 💛

It’s a relaxed, café-style space where you can come as you are. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, or you can simply sit, have a cuppa and a chat.

There’s always plenty of tea, coffee and cake, a friendly welcome and a safe space to spend a couple of hours in good company.

Come on your own, bring a friend, stay for the whole morning or just pop in for a little while.

Everyone is welcome and it’s completely free. 💛

I little look at this mornings activities at a quieter moment whilst some were out in the prayer meditation room and others were on our wellbeing walk (1st Wednesday of the month)

Our next Renew Walk is this Wednesday, 2nd September!

Meet us outside The Lewis Arms, Tongwynlais, at 9.30am for a gentle, guided walk, finishing at Renew Café for free refreshments and cake. ☕🍰

Renew Café is open every Wednesday from 10.30am, with arts and crafts, table activities, a pool table and a quiet prayer and meditation space.

Everything is free, including tea, coffee and cake. Renew is a warm and friendly space where it’s okay, to not be okay. There are plenty of people to chat with and lots to enjoy, but there’s never any pressure to join in.

Come as you are. We’d love to see you. 💛

Every Wednesday from 10-4pm we also have Jaye from Citizen Advice in a side room at Ainon for privacy for free drop in advice. No appointment is needed and it saves a trip into town.😊
Please share that this is available for rent, landlord, benefit advice etc. as this is such a valuable resource and if it’s not used we may lose it.

We have a special sip and paint evening coming up at Ainon on Friday 9th October and it would be great to see some of you there.

A sip and paint is a relaxed social event where you paint a picture while enjoying a drink 🎨🥂

Everyone will be guided through the same painting step by step, with canvases, paints and brushes provided. You don’t need any experience, it’s about enjoying yourself. It would be lush to see some of you there.

There will be no Renew on Wednesday 26th August, as many of our volunteers are away on holiday. We’ll be back on Wednesday 2nd September from 10am for our usual crafts, jigsaws, meditation, refreshments and friendly company. 😊
