Our lovely customers, Dinty & Sue, brought us some chillies they’d grown themselves. 🌶️

Such a thoughtful little gift, and one that really made our day.

So today, we’re turning their home-grown chillies into our own chilli oil. 😊

Hello everyone 😊

We’re Mr Miyagi, and we’ve been part of Canterbury’s food scene for 12 years now.

We started out as a tiny little sushi bar, and over the years we’ve been very lucky to become known for our sushi — not just around Canterbury, but apparently even a little further across Europe too… or so we like to think! 😁🍣

But there’s much more to Mr Miyagi than sushi.

If you’re not a fan of fish, or you don’t eat raw food, you’ll still find plenty to choose from. We have warm, comforting rice dishes, cooked favourites, side dishes and lots of other options, so there’s something for almost everyone.

We’re not right on the High Street, so you might not simply stumble across us — but we’re tucked away on Orange Street, just a one-minute walk from Canterbury Cathedral. A little hidden, perhaps, but very easy to find once you know where we are. 💛

So if you’re visiting Canterbury, or you’re local and haven’t found us yet, we’d love for you to come and say hello. Pop in, get cosy, and enjoy something delicious with us.

The evenings are getting a little cooler 🍂🍣
