ONE TICKET AVAILABLE FOR TONIGHT'S SOCIAL DINING

🍽️ Social Dining Evening at Chatterbox 🍽️

Looking for a relaxed evening with great food and even better company?

Our monthly Social Dining Evening is the perfect opportunity to meet new people, enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal and spend an evening around the table together.

Whether you come on your own or with friends, everyone sits together, you collect the food platters and then pass them around the table which helps to break barriers and help conversations start.

📅 Friday 4th September
🚪 Doors open: 5:30pm
🍽️ Food served: 6:00pm

🌱 Two-course meal:
Augergine Parmigiana with Roast Potatoes and Tiramisu (shh! its vegan)

Fancy some company and a cuppa? Sit with one of our friendly volunteers, meet other people and enjoy a relaxed chat.

🧩 BRAIN TRAIN TABLE
Don't feel like chatting? That's absolutely fine! Grab a Sudoku, crossword, wordsearch, colouring, puzzle or game of chess and enjoy some quiet time in good company.

You can move between the two, do a bit of both, or simply enjoy your coffee.

We’ve got a brilliant line-up of creative workshops coming to Chatterbox Cafe with Kata Creative — from pottery painting and autumn crafts to making your own Christmas decorations. ✨

Whether you’re already crafty or fancy trying something completely new, these relaxed workshops are a lovely way to spend an evening getting creative.

🏺 PAINT A POT
Choose from mugs, plates, pots, bowls, teapots and more, then create your own design. Your finished piece will be glazed and fired ready for collection.

💜 FIBROMYALGIA & LONG-TERM PAIN — DROP IN & CHAT ☕

Living with fibromyalgia or long-term pain can sometimes feel isolating — especially when other people don't really understand what day-to-day life can be like.

Our Drop In & Chat is a relaxed opportunity to meet others who understand, have a coffee, share experiences if you want to, or simply enjoy some friendly company. 💜

There’s no pressure and no need to explain yourself — just come as you are.

WOULD YOU BE INTERESTED IN A MANDARIN CONVERSATION CLUB? 🇨🇳

We’re thinking about adding Mandarin to our growing range of FREE Conversation Clubs at Chatterbox! 🗣️

We have a lovely volunteer who is interested in hosting the group — now we just need to find out whether there are people who would like to come along.

Perhaps you:

🇨🇳 Speak Mandarin fluently
📚 Are currently learning Mandarin
🎓 Studied it in the past and would like to practise again
💬 Simply want more opportunities to actually SPEAK the language

The idea is a relaxed social evening where people can practise Mandarin, build confidence and meet others with the same interest. We will not be teaching Mandarin but you can pick up new words or correct grammar.
