Meet Alfie, an author to watch for the future!

Alfie came into the shop last week with his grandad Adrian, one of our treasured customers. He made us this video, encouraging us to order in this excellent book so other young writers (and potential writers) can write even better stories. We have of course done as requested and this is now on sale and also available in our in-store writers library.

So, this is a mini-trailer of a film being made for NTV in Canada, featuring Joan Masters, a war bride who left Kent after the war to marry her husband Sam in Newfoundland.
Joan is the great grandmother of Andrew Rodgers who is coming to perform at Chapters Unplugged on September 25th.
A longer trailer will be released just before Andrew arrives with the full movie out in November.
