“🚂I just got back from a solo trip to Canterbury, and I enjoyed it more than I could’ve imagined! 💫✨

🍳I ate my way through local favourites, explored corners I’d never had time for on previous visits, and even challenged myself to early mornings, dragging myself out of bed at 5 am to take photos of the Cathedral at sunrise (the views were spectacular!).💫

🏨This time, I stayed one night at : a beautiful, design-led hotel steeped in history, right in the city centre. I can’t imagine a cosier and more atmospheric place to reset. It’s full of character and endlessly photogenic, the perfect base for a getaway from London.💫”

Hunkering down in Room 20 🍁

As autumn sets in, we’re drawn towards warm colours and cosy spaces.

Also, the wooden rafters of our 15th Century Coaching Inn are nowhere so prominent as here.

Along with the rolltop pewter bath, no wonder this is one of our most favoured rooms.

After a long, hot spell, we think we can all agree that the recent patter of rain has been very welcome..
