After countless Flatwhites & Cappuccinos. Fish & Chips and Fish Curry, Langoustines & Lobsters. Mojitos & Martinis.

It is with great sadness to announce that Number Forty Two Restaurant & Kitchen is now closed indefinitely.

We opened In Novemeber 2020 bringing the freshest seafood to Campbeltown. We overcame so many challenges along the way but we always pulled through and tried to offer the best food, cocktails & service in the area. We didn't always get it right but we tried.

The team would like to thank all of our customers for making this journey so enjoyable. We will miss you.

Finally, on behalf of the 42 family, I would like to thank Gordon for being the man, the myth and the legend that he is.

From your local fisherman to your plate Forty Two.

We have beautiful local Crab Claws and Squat Lobsters fresh from the boat this week for you to enjoy and from Tuesday our Scallops, Queenies and Mussels are back on the menu.

Fancy something other than Seafood? Then we have Mushroom Veloute, baked Camembert with pickles & Coûte or Haggis Spring Roll to start.

For mains we have pan fried Duck breast or Venison Shank with Goosefat Fondant Potato, sticky red Cabbage & jus.

Happy New Years Eve to all of our customers old and new. What a year it has been!

Join us today as we will be hosting our last Carvery of the year from 12pm. With a fine selection from our seafood salad bar, soups & Pate. Beautiful roast Gammon, Turkey and Beef with all the trimmings and lastly why not finish off with something from our delectable dessert trolley and a freshly ground illy coffee.

2 courses for just £26 or all 3 courses for £38!

We also have options from our menu boards such as Pan Fried Duck Breast, our classic #42 Fish & Chips or Pan Fried Seabass.
