My most used & invaluable tool. I would guess that at least 4000 limes (and a few oranges) have had their zests efficiently & violently removed by this microplane but it's long overdue its retirement.

Using a shiny new one is going to be a bit of a shock!

Also, it's Thursday so I'm open tonight! 🎉

And today in Lorien's 'things that make me unreasonably happy' are these tubs! I've got about 4 sets of these & thought I'd check to see if they were on sale AND THEY WERE, so now I've got 5.

They completely dismantle so can be PROPERLY cleaned & they don't warp so everything goes back together over & over & they stay airtight. This is all stuff you have to think about in a kitchen like this.

And they are pretty, which makes me happy.

Anyway, just thought I'd tell you

(also, got a 5 from environmental health yesterday so that's nice too)

This week you've only Thursday & Friday to get your fix in as Saturday I'll be closed. Why, you ask?

Well! I'll be making food at a wedding 🥹, they've deliberately & on purpose asked me. Not sure there's a nicer compliment to be honest :)

I'll update if there are any power issues, it keeps popping off here in Boscastle, but I'll be there as usual with the cabin shutters slamming open & shut in the wind all day.

So I might be a nervous wreck by the time you come to get your dinner 😅
