We use Kickstart Coffee for our hospitality coffee, and thanks to your support, this is the impact you have helped create.

This month, Kickstart Coffee is supporting teachers at Bunamutoro Mountain School to save towards purchasing cows, helping improve soil fertility, nutrition, and long-term household income. Together, you have also contributed to 1,960 cups of coffee served, 350 trees planted, 1 teacher's salary paid, and 1 teenager's school fee paid.

Thank you for helping make a real difference through every cup of coffee. ☕🌱🐄

☕ Meet Alana, our newest barista! 👋

Yesterday I caught up with Alana while she was doing some training and asked her a few questions!

☕ What is your favourite coffee?
It depends on the weather! If it’s warm out, I love a blueberry and vanilla iced latte. If we’re in the colder seasons, I love a hot chocolate.

😄 Do you have a nickname?
Every person I meet gives me a new nickname, so it depends who you ask!!

❤️ What’s your favourite thing about church?
The community side, building relationships with people and gaining more ‘family’, because that’s what it feels like.

Come and say hi to Alana! She’s a lovely person!

☕️ KICKSTART COFFEE

We use Kickstart Coffee for our hospitality, and it has a real impact on people’s lives. ❤️

🌍 The impact:

🍎 800 students & teachers receiving fresh fruit
🧼 4 hygiene kits provided
🍉 60 servings of watermelon funded
🍽️ 460 meals provided

🤝 Meet the vendor

This is Brian Kadu, who sells watermelons in Kalerwe Market, Kampala. 🍉 His watermelons are around twice the size of those you’d typically find in the UK!

Deo, our team member in Uganda, buys directly from Brian, and a young motorcycle driver then delivers them to the school. 🏍️

❤️ So, every penny spent helps support local livelihoods as well as providing food and practical support to the school community.
